Anabel Sue Richardson Schoff Mason, 81, of Port Washington, Wisconsin passed away on October 11, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.  She was born on October 31, 1935 in Galena, Illinois; the daughter of Willard and Florence (Flora ) Lillian (White) Richardson.  She was proceeded in death by her parents; first husband, Leland Schoff; her brother James Richardson and sister-in-law Patricia Richardson.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Mason;  daughter Litzi (Dr. Craig) Schulz and their two children, Margo and Cole; 3 step children, Leland  (Patricia) Schoff, Mardie (Mark) Oberle, Deborah Mason; grandchildren Annie (Rick) Rothschild Farman and William Oberle; as well as two nephews Thomas and Lawrence Richardson.

She graduated from Galena High School and attended college at Rockford College and graduated from Northern Illinois University. She worked in a variety of managerial and human resource positions. In her free time, she was very active in the Rockford Ballet, YWCA and Girl Scouts. She was a vivacious woman,  loving wife and mother, amazing sister, terrific aunt,  devoted friend and a very loving and nurturing grandmother. She will be greatly missed.  

A celebration of her life will be held at Westminster United Presbyterian Church with a visitation at 10 am, followed by a service at 11:00. Miller & Steinke Galena Chapels, Galena is assisting the family. Memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer Association or Girls Scouts of the United State of America.
